Summary
This tab of the View Configurations dialog allows the designer to configure the mode used to display each of the various design items within the workspace.
Access
This is one of three tabs available for a 2D view configuration – accessed from within the View Configurations dialog. This dialog can be accessed from both the PCB Editor and the PCB Library Editor, in the following ways:
- In 2D Layout Mode, click View | View | » View Configurations » View Configuration, from the main menus.
- Press the L key.
Options/Controls
Each of the following types of design primitive can be independently controlled with respect to their on-screen display mode: Arcs, Fills, Pads, Polygons, Dimensions, Strings, Tracks, Vias, Coordinates, Regions and 3D Bodies. Three modes are available, choose which mode is active as required:
- Final - display design objects of this type using outline and fill.
- Draft - display design objects of this type using outline only.
- Hidden - do not display design objects of this type.
The following buttons are available to quickly manipulate the display mode for multiple object types:
- All Final - quickly set the display mode for all object types to
Final
. - All Draft - quickly set the display mode for all object types to
Draft
. - All Hidden - quickly set the display mode for all object types to
Hidden
. - Shown Final - quickly set the display mode for all object types that are not currently hidden to
Final
. - Shown Draft - quickly set the display mode for all object types that are not currently hidden to
Draft
. - Toggle Shown - quickly toggle the display mode for all object types that are not currently hidden between
Final
andDraft
as applicable.
